Join us this Mother’s Day for a slow, beautiful afternoon in the Cheese Factory Café.
A small, intimate number of seats available - Get in quick!
We’re setting the tables with tiered treats, a selection of canapés, warm scones, sweet and savoury pastries, mixed sandwiches and all the little comforts of a classic high tea, held within the eclectic beauty of The Cheese Factory, a space where character, history and creativity meet.
Each person will receive a nice glass of bubbles, wine or soft drink and a cup of tea or coffee.
Local duo Woodfolk will be weaving their harmonies through the room, bringing a gentle, earthy soundtrack to the celebration of Mums. Music from 1-3pm
Woodfolk is the duo project of cousins and Adelaide Hill’s musicians Elli Agars and Lewy Horwood. Their intimate performances highlight the 1960’s folk-revival and Americana-influenced artists that they both grew up on; weaving honest story-telling and a self-deprecating quiet charm between their tracks of subtle acoustic instrumentation and familial harmonies. Exploring themes of parenting in the modern world, first loves, regrets, a love for the natural world and aging on their own terms, Woodfolk make each audience member feel like they’re watching a show in a familiar, candle-lit living room with old friends - doing their best to make you laugh and make you cry, with banjo breakdowns and footstompers punctuating either side of yearning folk ballads.
